Davenport Machine Tool Company was founded in 1894 by Mr. William Simeon Davenport in New Bedford, Mass. Initially producing clock pinion turning machines, the company progressed into the manufacture of intricate multiple spindle automatic bar machines.
Rob Pike, New Company President
Manth Brownell is pleased to announce Rob Pike as our new Company President. Rob took over for Wes Skinner Jr., who served as Company President for 24 dedicated years and retired July 1, 2014.
Rob started with MB in 1998 as a Business Unit Manager and held subsequent roles as Quality Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Manufacturing and most recently as Executive Vice President.
